The First Workshop on Radar-Based Human-Computer Interaction will be held at EICS 2024 on 25th of June 2024 in Cagliari, Italy.

Call for papers!

The workshop targets the emerging area of radar-based interaction with scientific explorations in Engineering Interactive Computer Systems. Radar technology, traditionally employed in surveillance and object detection, has been recently used by HCI researchers for creating novel user experiences, including gesture-based interaction through radar sensing, material recognition, and enabling interactions through fabrics and surfaces. The participants in this workshop will explore fundamental, practical, and experimental challenges posed by radar-based interaction in numerous application domains, such as gaming, virtual and augmented reality, healthcare, emergency response systems, and smart environments.
